Chapter Nine

“Is that a real lariat?” Matt stepped out of the stream and wiped shaving cream off his chin. He was stunned to smell freshly fried fish. He spotted them arranged with some small wild strawberries on a chunk of wood that was acting as a plate by Josh’s tiny camp fire.

Josh stopped making lazy circles with the rope he was holding. “I carry rope whenever I go trekking,” he said. There was a mischievous light in his eyes that took Matt aback.

“What?” Josh laughed, his face easier than Matt had seen it yet. Tentatively, Matt went to him, conscious he was only dressed in the boxers he’d rinsed out and hung from a tree branch the night before. It was crazy to feel shy with Josh, but he did, every time he remembered that kiss.

“I don’t know. I guess I expected…angst or something this morning.”

Josh shook his head, his face smoothing out. “Feel like that water running over the rocks back there.”

Matt got it. “Peaceful.”

“Yeah.” Josh knelt and handed Matt breakfast. “I never could stop thinking of how it felt to be inside another man. I thought for a while it was because it was my only sexual experience but then I met you.”

“Uh huh.” Matt wanted another kiss after hearing that. He settled for teasing. “What was the lariat really for?”

Josh nodded for Matt to put down the food, which he did.

The rope spun in the air again, a fat loop that snaked out and caught Matt’s wrists.

Josh cleared his throat. “You said you’d never been tied up before.”

Josh worked over Matt, his gaze avidly glued to his face as sweat glowed there, as Matt panted, pushing his ass up into Josh’s thrusts from his position on his hands and knees for him, their bodies moving now like flowing water. Josh gave and Matt took and somehow he also gave back, reflecting fire.

“Uh! God, you are so perfect around me, made to be fucked,” Josh cupped Matt’s forehead, tugging his head back. He felt that strange desire to brush his lips against Matt’s again.

Matt looked back at him from under heavy lids. He was still wearing Josh’s short rope around his wrists. Josh remembered how the smaller man had tugged on the knot and the way his eyes had widened when he couldn’t easily free his hands. But Josh didn’t know how to tie knots that weren’t serviceable.

Matt spread his knees, asking for more and Josh bit his neck, never wanting Matt to leave him now. He couldn’t tell him, not with words, he’d never been very good with them and they might somehow get tangled up like the rope they were playing with.

“Feels so good when you put it to me,” Matt rasped.

Josh’s thrusts slowed down, his eyes holding Matt’s as captive as his body.

Matt contracted around the thick cock ploughing into him, but Josh didn’t quicken his pace, burying his face against Matt’s shoulder. “I want to stay in you.”

He imagined every day they were together up here, waking up to Matt opening himself.
